Uber -A Theory
Okay, so remember the Halloween story Alison told? About the two twins? One twin wants to play with her sister Alice's doll, however, Alice doesn't allow her to have the doll. Eventually, the other twin stabs Alice and kills her. Now, I know plenty of people are saying it's CeCe, but I think it's too obvious. Think outside the box for a second and say, why has Marlene been giving all these tiny hints here and there, pointing towards Aria? Twin sisters or brothers usually have similar names. Aria and Alice, both starting with an A and funnily enough, it's the -A game. My theory is that Aria killed her sister when she was younger over a doll. We have seen that Aria likes Dolls. I will include a picture too, by @KillerAriaIsA and you will see solid evidence. My theory is that; Aria killed her twin sister Alice, then she got taken to Radley. Through guilt, Aria developed a split personality of her sister Alice. This other personality takes over Aria from time to time. During her spell in Radley, the Alice part of her personality met Charles. They developed a friendship. Aria has blocked all memory of her killing her own sister out, because it's a subconscious coping mechanism. Aria does not remember killing Alice, being at Radley or meeting Charles. Alice's personality comes out of Aria and Alice wants revenge on Aria for killing her. She can't hurt Aria directly without hurting herself (hence why nothing major ever happens to her), so she targets Aria's friends to make Aria suffer. Alice wants Aria to remember what she did and to take responsibility for it. When Alison was first receiving threats from someone, she later assumed it to be -A. However, when she got these threats, some of them were signed off as -A (which could've been Mona, but some were never signed off as anybody) What if the original threats she were receiving came from Alice? What if Mona knew about these threats and decided to play an -A game to eventually get rid of Alison, so she could be Queen Bee? However, Mona's mental disorder spiralled out of control, which led her to carry on the game. If Bethany escaped Radley the night Alison went missing, how did she send her threats beforehand? If Charles sent Alison the original threats, why did he not just go for her then and there? Or when she came from hiding? Something does not add up. In conclusion, I firmly believe Aria is completely unaware of what she did to her sister and she is also completely unaware of the fact that she has split personality and the other personality is a manifestation of her murdered sibling Alice. Alice wants revenge on Aria for killing her. She can't kill Aria without killing herself, she wants Aria to remember. She targets Aria's friends so Aria suffers the most in a way.
Remember, two can keep a secret, if one of them is dead.
I believe when Charles' story is over, after the time jump, "Alice" will start playing the -A game. See the pictures below made by @KillerAriaIsA for the evidence.
On the left are images from the twin 'story' and on the right are images involving Aria and her family.
Here we have a picture of Aria in the mirror. Mirrors are generally a way to represent a split personality. Remember all the Black Swan hints? If you watch the movie, Nina (Swan Queen) appears to have a split personality and she see's her other personality through the mirror. The two dolls below, the blonde one, could indicate Alice, the murdered sibling, whilst the Aria doll on the right, expresses Alice's hatred for Aria.
Another little clue, the episode Aria is admant she saw -A and how -A was a girl, watch the episode back. Focus on the surrondings, especially the top part of the fence. Once you see that, look at the picture Clark took. The fences and certain surrondings are completely different. This leads me to believe, Aria saw "Alice" in a halluncation, and Alice photoshopped the picture taken to reflect what Aria saw, but she messed up on the details of the surrondings. Here is the picture, I took a screenshot on Netflix. Notice how the two fences are completely different?
What do you think? Could Alice be Uber A?
